The room keys are stored on a rack accessible to all guests, which feels a bit insecure. The balcony was smaller than the listing suggested, making it cramped for two people. Additionally, the room faced a busy road, making it a challenge for light sleepers due to traffic noise. I recommend requesting a room on a higher floor for a more peaceful experience.

The location is ideal. Just a few minutes walk to the bus station and the center of Taormina. The view from the breakfast terrace is stunning. I enjoyed a lovely breakfast with plenty of fresh options, especially the fruit and hot coffee made to order. The staff were extremely helpful, especially Daniela and Matteo, who offered great local tips and recommendations. Room 22 had a nice balcony, but the lack of an elevator meant a bit of a workout dragging our bags up to the fourth floor. No elevator access made it a challenge, especially after a long day of exploring. Despite the minor inconveniences, the charming atmosphere and attentive service made it a memorable stay.

The spacious terrace offered breathtaking views and was perfect for enjoying a glass of wine under the stars.

Breakfast choices were rather limited and could use more variety to enhance the experience.

They got a cozy little place here, just a hop from the old town. The views from our balcony were downright breathtaking, sittin’ out with a glass of wine was real nice. The only trouble was lugging our bags up to the 4th floor—had me huffin’ and puffin' somethin' fierce. Breakfast hit the spot, too!

while the so-called 'sea view' was nice, my balcony was disappointingly small, making it impossible to enjoy properly. plus, the breakfast was just ordinary, despite it being included. i expected a room upgrade or at least a complimentary bottle of wine upon arrival, but i guess those are just perks for the 'special' guests. just couldn’t recommend it.

The location was perfect, just a short walk to local restaurants and bars. Enjoying a drink in the courtyard with views of the sea was a highlight of the stay. The staff provided excellent assistance and were always available to help with recommendations and bookings.

The bathroom felt a bit cramped and could use some updating.

la pensione svizzera is a lovely spot! the room had a stunning balcony with amazing views. breakfast was served on a beautiful terrace and had plenty of fresh options, from meats to pastries. it's super close to everything, including the bus terminal, making day trips a breeze. the staff, especially the receptionist, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

We had a wonderful time at this charming spot with a spectacular sea view from our room. The family-friendly atmosphere made it perfect for all of us, including my granddaughter. The staff offered terrific advice on local eateries and helped with parking, which was a blessing.

Great fit for a weekend pause in Taormina with excellent value for money. Had a decent night's sleep despite the squeaky floor. Try to ask for a room on a higher floor for quieter nights.
